does my IQ of 138 when I was tested at age 16,mean anything 50 years later...I'm a highly trained medical subspecialist , still practising in hospital setting

It's possible to have an increase with age on the verbal part of the IQ test from learning new vocabulary and from life experience itself, particularly if the person reads and travels a lot. Also, a person is likely to score about 8 points above or below what their initial score was if the test is retaken.
