Dementia on the Rise, Save Us

Dementia! Dear President Trump, Please Help Me Complete My Bucket List. Not Much Time Left.

Following the letter which was written by Michael Ellenbogen, International Dementia Advocate & Connecter, UsAgainstAlzheimer, I have expressedly obtained the permission to republish this here at Neuroscientia. Help spread the word out. Heal the world!

President Donald Trump

The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW

Washington, DC 20500-1600

Dear President Trump,

My name is Michael Ellenbogen and I am living with dementia. In my capacity as International Dementia Advocate & Connecter, I have changed many existing policies and procedures around this disease.

Through my knowledge and experience, many doctors and other medical professionals have learned new ways to deal with people who suffer from Alzheimer’s and dementia.

I am respectfully requesting a meeting with you as I know with your help we can change the world of dementia for so many.

Many Senators and Congressmen from both parties have contacted the Whitehouse scheduling office without any successful reply.

This lack of response makes me feel like your team is disrespectful to people with dementia. I hope I am wrong and you can make some time for me while I am still capable of speaking.

I would like to meet with you in order to help you further understand some of the issues this devastating disease creates.

I believe with your help we can change society’s view and understanding of this disease. Below are the issues I would like to speak with you about.

·       Stigmas

·       Global public ignorance

·       Lack of research

·       Prevent America from bankruptcy

·       HHS & NAPA setting the standards

·       Zarr

·       Public health crisis

I would be appreciative of any time you can give me, as my time is short and this is on my bucket list.

Kindest regards,

Michael Ellenbogen
